Hill Tribes (cont.):
- Lisu or Lishu (Thai call li-soo or li-sor), meaning as knowledge seeker for life, and the other meaning: Li means culture or tradition, Su means human, Lisu means group of people who are proud of their culture/tradition.

They lived in eastern Tibet and Yunnan, China and migrated to Thailand, Burma and India in 19th century. Many Lisu in Burma and China are Christianity from beginning of 20th century. They are a group of high self-confident and freedom race.
